What We're Doing
Developing the simulation framework that supports testing capabilities of the Missile Defense System (MDS)
Performing system decomposition, managing requirements, providing systems engineering support to product management
Execute test cases for verification of requirements and new product capabilities.
Developing and delivering MDS capabilities and engineering artifacts into the Technical Baseline (TBL)
The Work
Develop the modeling and simulation (M&S) framework of record to support the Missile Defense Agency.
Conduct performance analyses and trade studies.
Utilizing system-level thinking to integrate tools and products with OSF to simulate wargame scenarios.
Perform data analysis to confirm system-level behavior is nominal and/or determine root cause of reported product issues.

Experienced in systems engineering, particularly in MBSE, requirements generation, concept development, analysis, and simulation
Skilled in leading technical teams and providing oversight in a complex engineering environment
Proficient in interfacing with technical stakeholders and managing technical documentation and baselines
Adept at preparing and delivering technical briefings and engineering products
Strong project management skills with experience in monitoring tasks, schedules, scope, and costs

Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must be eligible to obtain an interim secret clearance, this requires U.S. citizenship.
Systems Engineering Background including: systems documentation, system requirements, systems verification, and system architecture/design.
Experience in model based systems engineering (MBSE).
Understanding and working knowledge of SysML.
Understanding and working knowledge of system-level requirement lifecycle (generation, decomposition, verification, etc.).
Desired Skills:
Experience with DOORS.
Experience with requirement traceability from DOORS to planning tools like JIRA, Agility, etc through the use of ALM Connect or other third party connection tools.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience breaking requirements down into verifiable/measurable test specifications.
Experience with MDA ground test or flight test systems
The candidate will have demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment; to include MDA customer, development teams, product owners and program leadership.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
