Software CI/CD Engineer Supporting the Missile Defense Team!!
Job Description
As a Software CI/CD Engineer, you will be a key member of the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (RA ART) within the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications. You will work across the ART to implement and maintain a standardized CI/CD pipeline for use by all Product Teams within the RA ART, spanning two development sites. Collaboration with the Cyber and Platforms ART is essential to ensure tools and applications within the pipeline meet security and other requirements. Regular updates on the pipeline status and issue resolution will be required.
Responsibilities
Implement and maintain a standardized CI/CD pipeline for all Product Teams within RA ART.
Collaborate with Cyber and Platforms ART to ensure tools and applications meet security requirements.
Present regular updates on pipeline status.
Resolve any issues related to the CI/CD pipeline.
Infrequent travel between Huntsville and Colorado development facilities may be required.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's Degree and 5-9 years of related experience or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 4-6 years' experience.
Active Secret Clearance.
Experience with Linux System Administration and System Security Implementations.
Experience with Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
Experience with CI/CD in a classified development environment.
Experience with DevSecOps.
Proficiency in Linux Shell Scripting, Ansible playbook development and management, SE Linux, and Red Hat repository administration.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of STIG Security Technical Implementation Guides.
Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication Implementation such as IPA and ADFS.
Familiarity with OpenShift, OpenStack, VMware ESXI, QAS/VAS, Windows, Active Directory, Backup and Recovery, Containers, and Container Orchestration products.
Understanding of PaaS and SaaS concepts.
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery and their application to products.
Work Environment
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications program integrates the Missile Defense System. This vital operational system enables strategic, regional, and operational leaders to plan ballistic missile defense operations, observe the battle's development, and dynamically manage networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve mission objectives. The program supports a layered missile defense capability, optimizing responses to threats of all ranges in all phases of flight. It integrates and synchronizes autonomous sensor and weapon systems, providing a force multiplier effect. The program is integral to system ground and flight tests, verifying and exercising missile defense system capabilities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $83.00
