Job Description:
We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our IT team. As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include configuring network equipment, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring network security.
Essential Functions:
Configure, and deploy network solutions based on business requirements.
Set up and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Maintain equipment, inventory, IP schema's and network diagrams
Implement security protocols, firewalls, and access controls
Support ICD 503 Risk Mitigation Framework (RMF) processes by patching, hardening, and/or upgrading systems as appropriate.
Travel for this position can be up to 20% annually.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly Clearance
CompTIA Security + CE Certification
Ability to lift 30 pounds
Preferred Additional Skills:
CCNA or Network
+ Experience with DOD encryption devices
CompTIA A+ Certification
Self-motivated, able to switch tasks easily, work independently
Experience with the configuration and ability to manage Solarwinds
Strong troubleshooting skills
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $61,000- $114,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
