Network Engineer
The Opportunity:

On our team of experienced professionals, you'll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We're looking for someone like you to help define secure communication networks.
You'll closely collaborate with fellow network architects and engineers specializing in designing, developing, and testing cloud gateway components. You'll maintain a virtual, remote infrastructure, troubleshoot complex network issues, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.
Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security missions. Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you'll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

You Have:
5+ years of experience supporting network switching and routing
3+ years of experience supporting network transport circuits
Experience with administering network devices, including switch, gateway, or firewall
Knowledge of network monitoring tools, including Solarwinds or Splunk
Top Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
DoD 8570 Level 2 certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience interacting with industry vendors, such as AWS or Cisco
Experience in configuring and troubleshooting encryption devices
Knowledge of cloud infrastructures
Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber, or Information Systems
CCNP or AWS certifications
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
