A Group Lead position in Cincinnati, OH is currently available at Belcan. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have 4 to 6 years of IT management experience. This job involves the technical leadership and oversight of our Build & Release and Information Assurance teams. Candidates must possess good communication skills and strong leadership abilities. You will be leading and managing an IT service management team of ~30 team members, with 3-5 direct reports.
The resource must be a US citizen and have a current CompTIA Security + CE certification or the equivalent. Candidates considered must also possess an S/SSBI level clearance or can obtain one upon joining.
A successful candidate will be an effective Resource Manager and have excellent Customer Service skills.
Group Leader Job Duties:
*Provide onsite technical support resources and leadership of Deployment and System Engineering teams, which consists of Senior Level Information Technology specialists covering the following technical scopes:
oLinux System Administration
oWindows System Administration
oNetworking Administration
oStorage and Backup Solutions
oCloud Platform Administration
oAutomation, Coding, and Scripting
oInformation Assurance and Security Functions
oIT Project Management
Enact a proactive approach to Managed Services
Follow and ensure successful execution of projects, and report results to Belcan and customer leadership
Build, develop, and grow the customer relationship and manage customer expectations
Provide leadership and guidance through sometime ambiguous situations with competing priorities
Identify problem areas and create effective action plans
Review time tickets, yearly performance, and salary actions
Build and maintain discipline and morale for their group
Support the proposal process by providing project estimates, work scope, and contract input
Effectively communicate status to stakeholders, including organizational leadership, multifunctional teams, and the customers
Interface directly and effectively with people at all levels and from diverse technical backgrounds
Team Lead identification, and broad professional and technical team development
Delegation of duties and holding team member accountability
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Managed Services industry successfully managing IT task supervision
Experience in system administration and support for Windows workstations/servers/OS, Linux workstations/servers/OS, Networks and Storage/Backups in classified program areas
Have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (Required)
Knowledge in advanced system and application troubleshooting and issue remediation
Process improvement experience in project focused environments
Expertise in SLA development achievement, and the design and establishment of Metrics and KPIs with the ability to successfully meet expected SLAs, Metrics and KPIs
Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
ServiceNow knowledge is a plus

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $130,000 to $140,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
