As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and optimizing electrical systems and components, including the design and implementation of printed circuit boards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative electronic products to life while ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and project requirements.
Essential Functions
PCB Design and Development: Design, develop, and test printed circuit boards (PCBs) for various electronic devices and systems. Use PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer) to create and modify circuit board layouts.
Circuit Design: Create and analyze circuit schematics, ensuring that they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards. Develop detailed documentation for PCB designs, including bill of materials (BOM) and assembly instructions.
Prototyping and Testing: Build and test prototypes of PCBs and electronic systems. Perform electrical tests and troubleshooting to validate design functionality and performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, software developers, and other team members to integrate PCB designs with overall system architecture. Communicate design concepts and changes effectively with cross-functional teams.
Design Optimization: Continuously review and refine PCB designs to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance manufacturability. Stay updated with the latest PCB design techniques and technologies.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure PCB designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements (e.g., IPC standards). Address any issues related to electrical noise, signal integrity, and electromagnetic interference.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of design changes, test results, and project progress. Prepare and present technical reports and documentation as required.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with PCB designs and prototypes. Provide technical support for manufacturing, assembly, and field issues related to PCB's
