Minimum Qualifications Summary
Certification & Education
Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc)
NCMA and/or DAWIA Certifications Desired
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in contracts, subcontracts, business management, finance, accounting, or related field or Master's degree with 1 year of relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications
Job Purpose: This contracts/subcontracts administrator will support all aspects of the company's contract/subcontract portfolio from the business development phase through closeout, delivering customer satisfaction, building customer relationships and providing timely responses to both external and internal customers.
Responsibilities:
Administer daily contract activities for a variety of contract types, including cost reimbursable and firm fixed price; such activities will include proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
Review contract terms and conditions to verify that they comply with company policies and all applicable federal and state regulations
Self-monitor progress according to the schedule of completion to submit drafts and documents on time
Enter and manage data in the contract management system
Participate in customer meetings, performing and monitoring compliance to contract requirements
Ensure non-disclosure and teaming agreements and contract terms and conditions are negotiated within company guidelines
Experience:
Familiarity with FAR and various Federal Agency Supplements
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in contracts, subcontracts, business management, finance, accounting, or related field or Master's degree with 1 year of relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications
Qualifications:
Ability to identify, analyze, and suggest solutions for problems, customer complaints, and client concerns
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including an impeccable mastery of the English language
Clear adherence to company policies and procurement rules and regulations
Good organization skills and the ability to multitask on several projects simultaneously
Knowledge of negotiation best practices, both in-person and in written form, that considers company and cultural norms and the client's best interests
Pricing experience desired
Education:
Bachelor's degree with a Business concentration (Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management, Marketing) preferred
Security Clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
