Description: You will be the Quality Engineer for the Lockheed Martin, Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for pioneering high-performance air and missile defense, air-to-air, precision fires, close combat, sustainment, sensors, strike system and energy storage solutions that make a difference in the lives of our war fighting and civilian customers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and services, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing first article inspections, engineering requirements reviews, process reviews, inspection reviews, and product line validations as outlined by AS9102 and applicable company and industry standards.
Identifying and implementing root cause and corrective/preventive actions for nonconformances.
Collaborating with customers and program management teams to understand needs and drive quality solutions.
Participating in failure diagnosis and Material Review Board (MRB) activities as required.
Providing technical liaison support related to quality engineering matters.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
STEM degree at Bachelor's level or higher
Must be able to identify and document quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective action.
Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems.
Understanding engineering drawings requirements mechanical and electrical inspection methods.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines and to support all supplier quality field engineering activities.
Desired Skills:
A basic understanding of the MFC SAP and Procure to Pay (P2P) business systems.
Experience working in manufacturing facilities
Experience with performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) to AS9102 requirements.
Understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
