You will be the Software Engineer Sr. for the
Simulation & Systems Test (SST). Our team is

What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Engineer you will be responsible
for integration and troubleshooting of SSS
software products in hardware-in-the-loop and
man-in-the-loop lab environments. Tasks include software development and integration for a distributed, real-time simulation system that includes a mix of aircraft and simulation software and hardware. You will use your software engineering and integration experience to integrate and test SSS software in different environments and venues supporting program customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Simulation software engineering experience
Understanding and wide application of
technical principles, theories and concepts used
to develop and integrate software for products
primarily founded on the reuse of existing
software, and supporting Digital Transformation.

Basic Qualifications:
Software Development Experience using C++
Experience developing software on Linux
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Technical
Field (STEM)
Desired Skills:
Experience with real-time software development & integration
Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems
Experience with automated testing
Experience with Continuous Integration (CI)
and tools, such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket
Experience performing software integration in
hardware-in-the-loop and/or man-in-the-loop
simulation environments
Experience with Agile software development
methodologies and tools, such as Jira
An extreme interest in anything airborne, such
as fighter aircraft and airplanes
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Strong work ethic and self-motivation
Active F-35 program access
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
