We are currently seeking a Sales Manager responsible for overseeing contract negotiations and management of various types of contracts with domestic and international customers in the Americas. This position will involve the development of long-term growth strategies and sales opportunities , as well as the building of strong customer relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
Reviews requests for proposals, agreements, and contract structuring, for acceptability of terms and conditions and identification of special requirements.
Acts as lead negotiator on contract terms and conditions with customers.
Receives and evaluates contracts and purchase orders from customers to ensure that order requirements are consistent with the proposal.
Summarizes order requirements using the CRM system.
Assists in the development of proposals, bids, and pricing estimates.
Develops pricing techniques and practices using financial models in order to maximize margins and sales.
Implements and assists in the data collection and analysis activities.
Documents material pricing information to provide evidence of pricing strategy.
Researches, analyzes, and interprets historical data to support pricing models.
Supports third-party sales representatives in South and Central America to win new business.
Attends trade shows and assists with planning.
Plans and executes solutions for the sales team to deliver to customers.
Identifies business opportunities with current and prospective customers.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience in aerospace or related industry strongly desired.
3+ years working in a sales role.
Strong negotiator with excellent interpersonal, team leadership and managerial skills.
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software strongly desired.
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred .
Experienced in customer and supplier relations.
Knowledge of ITAR, FAR and DFAR regulations preferred, but not required .
Fluent in English and Spanish preferred
