Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting General Engineers to support the VA Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) located at 2962 S Longhorn Dr, Lancaster, TX 75146. Shift schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:30pm or 3:30pm-12:00am. Responsibilities
Provide engineering expertise to support CMOP operations and infrastructure
Analyze and optimize healthcare delivery processes and systems
Ensure appropriate infrastructure, facilities, and equipment are available for pharmacy operations
Develop and implement engineering solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CMOP objectives
Conduct facility assessments and recommend improvements
Participate in project planning and execution related to CMOP infrastructure and systems
Provide technical guidance on equipment selection, installation, and maintenance
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with courses including differential and integral calculus and five of following areas of engineering science or physics:
statics, dynamics
strength of materials (stress-strain relationships
fluid mechanics, hydraulics
thermodynamics
electrical fields and circuits
nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties
any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in engineering, preferably in healthcare or pharmaceutical settings
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies
U.S. citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
Familiarity with healthcare delivery processes and systems preferred
Familiarity with VA environment preferred
All candidates must be able to:
Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
Lift up to 20 lbs
Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
