Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Property Control Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will get to Manage, track, and coordinate the flow of equipment to ensure efficient inventory control and adherence to customer requirements within a warehousing facility.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support receiving activities by verifying quantities and entering data into inventory management systems for relocations, exercise support, and maintenance tasks.
- Evaluate manufacturing schedules to ensure timely availability and controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer needs.
- Manage disposition of all property, maintain accurate inventory records, and conduct regular physical audits to reconcile records in the inventory management system.
- Develop and implement procedures for effective inventory control, identifying and addressing shortages or overstock to optimize inventory levels.
- Assist in the preparation and management of purchasing orders, supporting smooth and efficient inventory flow.
- Ensure all inventory storage and handling adhere to legal and safety standards.
- Use inventory management software to track and analyze inventory trends and discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy and reporting.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Experience: 6+ years in supply chain, logistics, scheduling, demand planning, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (emphasis on spreadsheets), and PowerPoint.
- Ability to make timely and effective decisions based on workload dispersion, program priorities, and management and customer requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
- Organizational Skills: Proven ability to handle multiple priorities, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Experience in Army warehouse or supply operations.
- Knowledge of GCSS-Army, FEDLOG, ETID, and government supply systems.
