We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to work closely with the customer, program manager and the engineering team. You will work closely with the team to identify, update and establish best DevOps practices. This will entail automating builds, working application deployments, configuration management with Ansible, writing and updating shell scripts, creating and updating documentation and training the team on DevOps practices. Desired Experience: Experience in AWS with architecting, building, scaling services in a cloud environment Strong Linux system administration skills Configuration Management experience with tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet Managing production infrastructure with tools such as CloudFormation Experience with logging (ELK stack), monitoring and alerting services Creating tickets in Jira and documentation in Confluence Fielding support tickets Ensure systems are security compliant and performant Fine tuning applications and operating systems Managing and assisting with application deployments Additional Preferred Experience: Experience working in an Agile environment Proficiency in Git and GitHub workflows Working knowledge of databases such as MariaDB WordPress, PHP, and Ruby skills a plus Experience in JavaScript frameworks (React) Experience with the LAMP stack and WordPress At Nightwing, we value collaboration and teamwork.
