We are looking for a Software Developer in our Virginia Beach location. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) CONUS based organization.
What You'll Get to Do:
Work with a team to analyze existing software applications and tools and recommend new technologies and methodologies to improve system performance and usability.
Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy new software tools that extend or replace existing capabilities.
Collaborate with developers, UI/UX designers, and system administrators.
Offer technical support for web, desktop, or mobile applications.
More About the Role:
Provides full lifecycle database design and software development to include the requirements gathering, design, development, testing, documentation, supporting technical writers and testers, configuration, and maintenance of developed software projects.
Maintains existing custom-developed software and supports COTS/GOTS software products as needed.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Required Technical Skills:
Must be able to interpret specifications, troubleshoot and create software solutions.
Requires a good working knowledge of integrating web applications.
Hands-on platform builder with significant experience in developing scalable software applications, with experience in analytics using large data sets.
Strong, firsthand technical expertise in a variety of configuration management and big data technologies and the proven ability to fashion robust solutions that can manage large data sets.
Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable code using C#.
Create robust web applications, APIs, and services.
implement and integrate data storage solutions for optimal performance.
Optimizing Application Performance:
Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs in applications.
Devise strategies to improve application performance and reliability.
Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicantMaintain consistent code documentation throughout the development cycle.
Report project status and address potential technical issues.tions.
Stay updated with emerging trends in software development.
Must be at ease working in an agile environment with little supervision.

Security Clearance Level: Secret clearance to start and must be able to obtain TS/SCI.
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work/military experience.
Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience.
Experience building custom web-based applications utilizing the .NET framework, Visual Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server. Experience includes javascript and various javascript frameworks such as jQuery, Kendo UI, bootstrap, Knockout JS, Moment JS, and Microsoft SignalR.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,100-$172,400
