Job Description
HII Mission Technologies provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Federal Civilian, Defense, and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.
Our US Postal Service (USPS) client in Merrifield, VA is seeking an Oracle Database Developer to join our USPS Engineering team. The work location for this role is Merrifield, VA. The client will consider a hybrid/remote work schedule of 2 days a week remote/3 days onsite once the employee is acclimated to the team and work environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Perform Client-Server application development using Oracle 12c/19c.
Perform WebLogic Administration by managing Oracle WebLogic application and utilities.
Install applications on WebLogic, performing upgrades, doing patching and troubleshooting problems.
Perform regular maintenance checks, performance tuning and support customer issues.
Plan, design, develop, test and deploy applications.
Write SQL Queries for application development and report generation.
Develop complex database objects like Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages using SQL and PL/SQL.
Minimum Qualifications
5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
5+ years of Client-Server application development using Oracle 11g/12c/19c.
3+ years of WebLogic Administration skills.
Extensive Client-Server application development experience using SQL and PL/SQL.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to document design and support needs.
The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a sensitive security clearance from USPS.
Preferred Requirements
Experience with Java, C++ and Apex development is a plus.
Experience working in a virtualized environment is a plus.
Help Desk or Customer Support experience is a plus.
