Job Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
Calling all remote-control model aircraft enthusiast with a desire to get involved in leading-edge innovations against Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS), also referred to as drones. Would you like to work in a fast-paced environment supported by advanced technologies that undermine the intentions of nefarious drone pilots? Become a Counter-UAS (C-UAS) subject matter expert and part of the solution, learn to fly small drones in a tactical setting and gain an appreciation of skills required to mitigate an untraceable airborne threat. Xator Corporation is currently seeking a UAS Intelligence Analyst (IA) to synthesize all source data and participate in the production of research and analysis projects within the C-UAS program. The UAS IA will also serve as an intelligence liaison across other Department of State intelligence offices for the C-UAS program.
The Xator C-UAS team is a U.S. government sponsored program that provides program management, solutions development, testing, evaluation, maintenance, training, and operations to provide protection to personnel and property at U.S. missions abroad. The market for C-UAS technologies is ever expanding as the proliferation of drones continue to saturate the airspace with an omnipresence threat. The contract requires medical screening/examinations/testing for this position. Candidates will receive a contingent offer based on successful completion of government medical requirements.
Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret (Top Secret / SCI preferred)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Research and analyze topics within the C-UAS program and participate in the production of threat intelligence products
Establish highly tailored written reports, oral briefings, and other intelligence products for a diverse range of global customers
Identify critical intelligence gaps, and apply intelligence community analytic tradecraft, including structured analytic techniques to eliminate gaps
Interact with priority customers on a regular basis and ensure customer requirements are routinely updated and prioritized
Participate in analytic working groups against high-priority targets
Assist in the coordination of threat intelligence production within the C-UAS Program
Work with team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of Department products
Network Detection and Analysis
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in all source intelligence analysis, or 6+ years of experience in all source intelligence analysis in lieu of a degree.
Experience
A minimum of (3) years of experience writing finished intelligence reports at the strategic, operational and tactical levels for mid and senior-level officials
Demonstrated knowledge of document analysis and experience with synthesizing large amounts of data
Experience producing finished intelligence analysis, including organizing and conducting threat intelligence assessments, by researching, evaluating, and integrating all source data in the production of all source threat intelligence assessments.
Demonstrated proficiency in working in a fast-paced collaborative environment and ability to proactively multi-task and meet short deadlines.
Experience with some of the following intelligence types: SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, TECHINT
Knowledge of intelligence community analytic tradecraft, including structured analytic techniques
Knowledge of the Intelligence Community's (IC) structure and IC member organization's roles and capabilities regarding analysis, collection, or core enabling functions.
Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey complex data to nontechnical customers.
Ability to provide concise, articulate, polished writing of analytic documents, summaries, issue papers, talking points, and briefings including the use of Microsoft PowerPoint
Ability to work across multiple organizations, including government and industry partners.
Ability to work independently while displaying sound judgement.
Training / Certification Requirements
Intelligence Fundamentals Professional
FAA Part 107 - Remote Pilot Certification
Specialized Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Ability to work alone or within a group.
Proficiency with analytic tools
Proficiency with software applications/databases used in support of research and analysis for the U.S. Government
Basic understanding of RF theory
Experience with collection processes
UAS incident reporting
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift objects 50-80 pounds such as boxes and other equipment.
Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
Manual dexterity required for frequent reaching, climbing, and lifting of moderate objects, operation of power and manual tools/equipment, and operating office equipment
Must meet most stringent country medical clearance requirements. Position requires adherence to approved vaccination protocols as determined by location.
Work Conditions :
Typical assignments are performed in climate controlled and external environments with a variety of weather conditions.
Travel:
Candidates should be willing to travel / TDY away from their home location for up to 30% of a typical work year.

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
